MurderedforMoney was created by Bridget Wilkinson in May 2017. This followed a request from local charity Naomi House Hospice and Jacksplace for a new and unique type of fundraising activity.
Due to the popularity of this initial event, other charities requested similar events and the business grew. To support our charity work, we started to perform for private parties and corporate entertainment and won many an award.
In 2019, the Covid pandemic hit and with all live events cancelled for the foreseeable future, the business faced closure. It was then that Bridget pivoted the business to offer virtual mystery events to audiences facing potential isolation at home. This work gained us national recognition and new audiences (our family of Super Sleuths) across the world.Â
With theatre and staff development expertise in house, the creation of our bespoke team building challenges followed in 2021. With the stunning New Forest on our doorstep, we have the perfect location for our Murder Hunt and Murder Squad activities.
As we continue to grow, charity remains core to our mission and each year we are delighted to raise thousands of pounds for our charity partners.Â
Founder
Bridget Wilkinson
Bridget is a professional actor and director with over 30 years experience in acting, directing and producing theatre productions. As well as her theatrical background, Bridget is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, specialising in staff development. This rare combination of expertise means that she is ideally placed to design and lead our bespoke murder mystery team building challenges.

Matt Avery
Matt is a hugely experienced actor/director who's directing credits include two West End shows, ‘Relative Values’ at the Savoy Theatre, and ‘Eurovision’ at the Vaudeville Theatre.
Suze Avery
Suze has over 15 years in the business with many acting and directing accolades to her name.
Lisa Gilmour
Lisa has over 15 years in the business and is a LAMDA acting coach, director and actor.
