Known for our charity fundraising, we are delighted to offer our special discounts to registered charities, schools, and community groups in order for you to maximise your fundraising potential. Whether organising a gala charity dinner in a grand hotel or a smaller gathering in a church hall, your dedicated murder mystery event director will be there to help you every step of the way.
Does it take a lot of organising?
If you are organising an event in a hotel or restaurant then you will need to choose the date, menu, murder theme and advertise the event widely. Murderedformoney and your venue will take care of everything else.
If you are opting to do the catering yourself, perhaps in a school hall or community centre, your event director is available to help you find your venue, decide on your menu, advertise the event and where appropriate discuss and source suitable decorations.
For a gala charity dinner consider restaurants, hotels, country and golf clubs, conference and sporting venues. Make sure you negotiate a good price on the meal, and if you need any help, please call us. Most venues offer discounts for charity events, if your venue does not, we would recommend you look for an alternative.
For smaller events, if you have a school hall, church or community centre that you are able to use, that is brilliant, if not contact us and we will be able to recommend some local venues.
Other than offering a vegetarian option, to keep logistics simple, it is not necessary to give guests a choice of menu. However, when choosing your menu, make sure that you choose dishes that you know will have mass appeal. From experience, menus that have proven particularly successful have included a chicken dish and a chocolate pudding.
For smaller events, if you are doing your own catering, try to get a mall team of volunteers to help you on the day and keep dishes simple to prepare and serve. Check out our menu ideas. Alternatively, MurderedforMoney has a number of catering partners that would be able to provide you with a competitive quote.
